At Monserate Vineyards and Winery, we make a conscious effort to be more, to do more, and to give more. While it may seem as though our sole purpose is to provide wine, food, and events, we strive for something higher. Monserate also serves the greater purpose of being a home away from home for everyone that walks through our doors. It’s a special place, where friends and family can come together and create lifelong memories rooted in joy and happiness.
We have worked hard to put together a team that is unified in a shared love and respect for Monserate. Because of the people here, we truly believe you can feel the warmth in the air. Nico, one of the affable faces behind the bar, said, “coming to work is literally a treat.” Similarly, Darius, one of our lead bartenders, expressed, “when a day in the office looks like this, there’s really nothing to complain about.” We truly feel it is a gift to serve those who come here and brighten their days. Our mantra at Monserate, “we’re in the business of fun and joy,” dwells in our minds, igniting the flame in our hearts to burn passionately for everything that is Monserate.
Joel, our bar manager, said, “The best thing about working here is the people. They’re a blessing. It makes it fun for me to come to work every day.” Our team members, like Joel, consistently strive to cultivate a friendly environment. We desire for all of our guests to feel comfortable, valued and appreciated. When asked about her favorite part about being a bartender here, Kay exclaimed, “Everything!” She continued, “I’ve been working here for almost a year and I absolutely adore everything. When it comes down to the staff, the customers, the management, and the whole operation, everything just fits together.”
